What to expect
Employees in this position will be responsible for organizing, servicing and resolving customer issues with the aim of achieving high company standards.
Main responsibilities
· Customer care in accordance with Group standards
· Arrival and departure procedures
· Management of funds
· Communication with all departments to fulfil reception requirements.
· Rooming of guests and description of room features
• Invoice control and credit handling
• Complaint handling
Necessary qualifications & skills
· At least one year of work experience in a relevant position in a 4 or 5* hotel
· Excellent knowledge of the English language. Any additional language will be considered as an asset.
· Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Knowledge of Opera program or PMS reservation management program (desirable)
· Customer-orientated concept
· Communication and organizational skills and team spirit
· A degree from a tourism school is considered an additional qualification
· Basic knowledge of the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000 management systems
· Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety
