Fourlis Group, one of the leading Groups of companies in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania in providing quality consumer goods, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Cyber Security Architect, based in Kifissia, Attiki.

The Position:
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible and accountable for:
•Ensuring network segregation and securing remote access policies are in place and effective
•Designing, implementing, and managing network security measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, web application firewalls (WAF), firewall rules optimization and DDoS mitigation
•Developing and enforcing policies for protecting information in transit, implementing and managing data loss prevention (DLP) for endpoints, email, and cloud services
•Ensuring compliance with confidentiality agreements and cryptographic controls
•Overseeing the management and secure disposal of removable media
•Integrating security requirements into project designs, applying secure system engineering principles
•Conducting system security testing, managing secure development environments, and overseeing system change control procedures
•Performing technical reviews of applications after operating platform changes and ensuring the security and integrity of the testing environment
•Implementing and managing policies for the secure configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of assets and endpoints
•Ensuring compliance with security standards for endpoint protection, including regular updates and patching
•Overseeing the lifecycle management of endpoints, ensuring secure disposal and replacement processes

Qualifications & Competencies required:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or related field
•At least 5 years of experience in security operations or a related role
•Strong knowledge of network security, information protection, and secure development practices
•Experience with security tools and technologies such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and DLP solutions
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•Sound judgment and balanced risk management
•Excellent teamwork and project management skills
•Good command of the English language
•Understanding of modern information technology systems and cybersecurity

Qualifications considered as an asset:
•MSc or PhD in Information Security/ Cyber Security 
•Relevant Certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, CSSLP, ISSAP)
