SAP FI/CO Accountant

The Advanced SAP Financial Specialist will be the dedicated person responsible for the execution, optimization, and auditing of all month-end closing procedures and monthly reconciliations within SAP. This role ensures total data integrity between sub-ledgers and the general ledger, with a heavy focus on production accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate brings deep technical SAP FI/CO expertise and a rigorous analytical mindset from a manufacturing background.

Daily and monthly duties:

·         Closing Cockpit: Own and execute the SAP Month-End Closing schedule, ensuring all dependencies and sequences are met on time.

·         Period Control: Manage posting periods for FI (OB52) and CO (MMPV) to prevent unauthorized entries.

·         Foreign Currency: Run SAP foreign currency revaluation programs (FAGL_FC_VAL) for open items and balances.

·         Sub-Ledger to GL: Perform and validate monthly reconciliations between sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and the General Ledger (GL).

·         Material Ledger: Run the SAP Material Ledger (ML) closing steps to calculate actual costing and update inventory values.

·         Production Orders: Perform technical closing of production orders, checking for un-costed goods movements or missing settlements.

·         Overhead Assessment: Execute cost center assessments, distributions, and activity type price calculations.

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the below criteria:

·         University degree in Finance, or Accounting.

·         Advanced SAP ERP (S/4HANA or ECC 6.0) FI/CO knowledge, minimum 5 years of proven experience

·         Good knowledge of MS office, especially excel.

·         Experience in accounting and financial analysis.

·         Good analytical thinking.

·         Attention to detail.

·         Ability to adapt to a continuously growing company.
