Operations Manager – FLEXOPACK U.S. Facility (Lebanon, PA)

Position Overview

FLEXOPACK is embarking on a significant new venture by launching its first production facility in the United States, located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. To ensure the successful establishment and ongoing growth of this facility, the company is seeking an Operations Manager who demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, hands-on approach. This position is ideal for a professional eager to be deeply engaged in building and developing a new manufacturing operation from the ground up, driving both growth and operational excellence as the facility matures.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support the setup of the new production facility, ensuring all operational components are effectively established.
•Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding the initial team members for the facility.
•Manage and coordinate relationships with local vendors, service providers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
•Oversee daily operations and supervise production staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
•Implement procedures, workflows, and operational standards aimed at optimizing efficiency and productivity within the facility.
•Demonstrate flexibility by taking on multiple roles as needed to support early-stage operations, effectively multitasking as the situation requires.
•Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that operational activities are aligned with the overall business objectives.
•Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and support the future expansion of the production facility.

Requirements

•Proven experience in operations management or production supervision, preferably in flexible packaging manufacturing.

•Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to perform effectively in a startup-like environment.
•Demonstrated capacity to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities successfully.
•Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
•Experience managing vendor relationships and working with external partners.
•A hands-on approach, with the ability to support both strategic and day-to-day operational activities.
•Ability to excel in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

Educational Background
