We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives across our organization. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including corporate transformation programs, insurance product development initiatives, and IT-for-IT projects aimed at enhancing internal technology capabilities and operational efficiency.
This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery expertise within a complex business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of enterprise-wide projects.
- Manage corporate and business transformation initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and deliver insurance product development projects, working closely with business, underwriting, actuarial, operations, and regulatory teams.
- Drive IT-for-IT projects focused on improving internal systems, technology platforms, infrastructure, processes, and digital capabilities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment among executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate governance processes, steering committees, and project status reporting.
- Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of project management experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex business and technology projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance product lifecycle management and implementation.
- Knowledge of insurance operations, policy administration systems, claims, or distribution channels.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, cloud migration, data, or enterprise technology initiatives.
