We are looking for a Health Insurance Claims Handler to handle effectively and timely the full cycle of health insurance claims and provide a high standard of customer service.

Role Responsibilities

As a Health Insurance Claims Handler, you will be responsible for:

• Handle and ensure timely processing of all health insurance claims documents
• Gather, check and maintain records of all data and documentation so as to ensure the settlement of claims
• Determine the validity of health insurance claims, carry out the assessment and settlement of insurance claims arising from policies in force
• Identify fraud potential and make appropriate referrals
• Estimate the final amount of claims and ensure the payment procedure according to contract terms and company policies
• Consult with other third parties to seek guidance and expert evaluation on issues regarding the investigation, assessment and negotiation of the insurance claims
• Answer inquires, deal with complaints and provide customers and external partners with further information / clarifications and/or support relating to claims processing
• Maintain all records and ensure their updating process
• Prepare reports including statistics and data about the frequency and severity of claims
• Suggest process improvements in order to support business in a more customer oriented way

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Insurance, Finance or similar field
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a claims adjuster
• Legal Knowledge on claims policies
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Fluency in English language
• Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
