Job Description:

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our Information Solutions team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications. You will be part of our Development team and will work closely with the Business Analysis and Business Intelligence team, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support. We value problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing software applications and ETL processes.
• Participate in the development of new software applications and components.
• Develop and maintain API integrations.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting languages.
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Provide solutions to technical problems.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
• 1-2 years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming
• Experience in at least one of the following: Python, Angular, Java.
• Knowledge of web services (Web API, RESTFul) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Analytical mind with problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
