EFA Group is looking for an IT Engineer with solid, hands-on experience across workplace IT and core infrastructure operations. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day IT delivery, support users and services, and contribute to keeping our environment secure, reliable, and well-managed. 

About the role / What you can expect 

• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and deployed software, including status and lifecycle tracking. 
• Manage patching and updates: identify fixes, test, deploy, and archive releases in a controlled way. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations, applications, and network access. 
• Set up, configure, and migrate user workstations (new devices, replacements, upgrades). 
• Report and escalate any suspected security violations or unauthorized hardware/software to the Information Security function. 
• Contribute to improvements: support planning for network growth, security hardening, and specification of new hardware/software. 
• Support receiving and verification of IT equipment (inventory components, confirm operational status). 
• Assist in operating and maintaining network equipment and connectivity services (LAN/Wi-Fi/internet). 
• Maintain and operate the company’s internet connection and related services. 
• Ensure IT infrastructure and operations remain consistent with the company’s cybersecurity guidelines and procedures. 

What we’re looking for 

• BSc in Information Technology / Computer Science (or equivalent). 
• 3+ years hands-on experience in IT operations (endpoints and servers; basic networking). 
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive fundamentals) 
• Entra ID (Azure AD): users/groups, access basics, MFA policies support, troubleshooting sign-in issues 
• Windows endpoints (Windows 10/11): imaging, configuration, troubleshooting, BitLocker basics 
• Windows Server: core administration and troubleshooting (AD DS basics, file/print services as applicable) 
• Virtualization (e.g., VMware): basic VM operations and troubleshooting 
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP basics, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, VPN fundamentals 
• Linux fundamentals (basic admin/troubleshooting) 
• Clear communication, strong problem-solving, and a team-first approach. 
• Ability to obtain/hold Security Clearance (where applicable).
