Role Requirements
- Be part of a well-established central legal team which supports and provides strategic advice to the stakeholders and business units of the Group
- Provide commercially focused legal support to the EFA group stakeholders, promoting our values, business growth and vision
- Contribute to the legal function day to day activities, leveraging your capabilities to the furthering the EFA Group to implement its strategic goals while developing and expanding its business
- Actively contribute to direct contract negotiations, safeguarding group business affairs while supporting business winning and retention
- Support tender activities
- Organize assignments and prioritize efficiently in order to meet deadlines, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness when under pressure
- Provide bespoke, sound and business focused legal advice and services to internal stakeholders
- Review and draft a broad range of complex corporate and commercial agreements and documents with a diverse range of customers, partners and suppliers, including NDA’s , MoU’s, collaboration agreements, terms and conditions of sale
- Safeguard EFA Group companies and its internal stakeholders from legal risk
- Work collaboratively as a legal advisor engaging hand in hand with a multi-disciplinary team, including liaising with and advising senior management
- Monitor and keep up to date with legislative changes and relevant case law and being responsible for communicating bespoke and practical advice to colleagues both within the legal function of the group and to colleagues from the various business units within the organization
- Engage, manage, and coordinate our external services providers (specialized external lawyers and law firms in Greece and abroad, tax advisors, notaries etc.) regarding their assigned work
What we are looking for
- You are Greek Qualified Lawyer
- You have received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a prominent, well-acclaimed University in Greece or abroad
- You have at least five (5) years post admission experience with a top tier law firm, a Big-4 accounting firm or retained in-house with international exposure
- You are able to work independently or under minimum supervision, delivering multiple projects concurrently assuming delivery ownership and accountability
- You can demonstrate specialist knowledge of corporate, commercial and contract law, combined with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- You can demonstrate problem solving mentality, when engaging in the tasks and projects assigned
- You have excellent knowledge and command of the English language (oral & written)
- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- You are strongly driven to support the business and add value to the services our organization delivers
- Excellent command of MS-Office applications
