EFA Group is currently looking for skilled Optical ISL & Network Routing Lead, who will lead the design and integration of Optical Inter-Satellite Links (ISL) and network routing concepts to enable resilient, low-latency constellation networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Define optical ISL requirements, architecture, and performance budgets.
• Lead routing/networking concepts across the constellation (topologies, resiliency, latency).
• Coordinate with payload, platform, and ground teams on interfaces and validation.
• Support supplier selection, technical oversight, and qualification planning.
• Contribute to verification plans and system-level performance demonstrations.

Requirements

• MSc in Telecommunications, Optical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
• 7+ years in optical comms, ISL systems, or networking for space/telecom.
• Strong understanding of network routing principles and performance analysis.
• Experience working with suppliers and qualification/verification processes.
