attica department stores is currently in search of a Commercial Department Coordinator & Business Analyst for our central offices in Athens.

Role Purpose: As a Commercial Department Coordinator & Business Analyst, you will support the Commercial Department through accurate reporting, data analysis and business insights, contributing to informed commercial decision-making and the effective monitoring of business performance. The role combines coordination of commercial activities with the preparation and analysis of data through SAP, BI and other reporting tools. 

Key accountabilities:

• Prepare and consolidate regular and ad-hoc commercial reports, dashboards and performance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze sales, stock, margins and other key commercial KPIs, identifying trends, variances and areas requiring attention.
• Define, structure and maintain clusters and product hierarchies/categories based on evolving business needs, in collaboration with the Commercial Department and EDI team, ensuring the appropriate level of detail and granularity required for commercial analysis and reporting.
• Extract, process and validate data from SAP, BI and other internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of reporting.
• Support the Commercial Department in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual reporting.
• Translate business data into clear insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
• Coordinate the collection of data and information from different departments and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor commercial performance against targets and support the identification of deviations and business opportunities.
• Maintain and improve existing reports and dashboards, contributing to the development of new reporting tools and analytical processes.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and projects based on business needs.
• Ensure the accurate organization and maintenance of commercial data, reports and relevant documentation. 

Skills/Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in Business Analysis, Commercial Reporting or a similar role.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics or other related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience with SAP and/or BI / reporting tools will be considered a strong advantage.
• Very good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach.
