About the Role:

As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of the organization’s modern workplace environment. The role focuses on securing Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management solutions, supporting a secure and efficient cloud-first, hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern security tools and cloud technologies, with the ability to implement effective security solutions that protect users, devices, and data in a cloud-first, hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and enforcing security policies and best practices for Microsoft 36
• Configuring and optimizing Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and related security tools
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls to protect company data and digital assets
• Monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and responding to security alerts
• Collaborating with IT teams to strengthen endpoint security and identity and access management
• Supporting compliance with internal security policies and relevant industry standards
• Working with cross-functional teams to embed security across workflows, applications, and infrastructure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and prioritize security actions
• Clear and effective communication skills, enabling collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in identifying and addressing security issues
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment

What you Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Entra ID (Conditional Access, Multifactor Authentication, Passwordless Authentication, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Protection)
• Proven experience securing Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and other Microsoft security solutions.Relevant certifications (e.g., MS-500, AZ-500) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and prioritize security actions
• Clear and effective communication skills, enabling collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in identifying and addressing security issues
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
