Chief Financial Officer

As a Chief Financial Officer, you will…

·        Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the company's strategic plan. Make the linkage between the firm’s business strategy and financial strategy

·        Drive the company’s yearly financial planning

·        Assess and monitor regularly financial performance against both the annual budget and the company’s long-term strategy

·        Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and revenue projections

·        Evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports

·        Oversee cash flow planning and weekly cash management

·        Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

·        Bring strong functional leadership to the finance team with a holistic approach to finance, business processes, and systems

Entry Requirements:

·       Proven experience as CFO, financial officer, or relevant role

·       Experience in the hotel industry will be considered as an asset

·       In depth knowledge of accounting, IFRS, and Greek taxation

·       Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

·       Excellent command of the Greek & English language, both spoken and written

·       Strong managerial and supervisory skills

·       Excellent organizational skills, emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight time constraints

·       BSc, MSc, or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, business or related field
