To support our continued growth, we are looking to bring to our team a Senior Formulation Scientist for our High Potent facility in Tripoli, Greece.

The Role

The Senior Formulation Scientist is responsible for the development and optimization of oral solid dosage forms and supports the development process from formulation to scale-up and technology transfer to production.

Responsibilities – Duties

·       Development and optimization of formulations for tablets, capsules and granules.

·       Planning and execution of formulation development activities.

·       Support of scale-up and technology transfer activities to production.

·       Application of Quality by Design (QbD) principles and Design of Experiments (DoE).

·       Preparation of development protocols, reports and technical documentation.

·       Contribution to the preparation of CTD Module 3 documentation.

·       Evaluation and interpretation of development results.

·       Troubleshooting of formulation and manufacturing issues.

·       Collaboration with Analytical Development, Quality and Production teams.

·       Support and guidance of junior scientists and laboratory personnel.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.

·       A Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field will be taken under consideration.

·       At least three (3) years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.

·       Experience in oral solid dosage forms and related manufacturing processes.

·       Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP and CTD requirements.

·       Experience in scale-up and technology transfer.

·       Experience in high-potent, oncology or cytotoxic products will be considered an asset.

·       Very good communication skills in English, both written and oral.

·       Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
