Civil Engineer // Hydraulic Department

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team for the Group’s Hydraulic Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review the design of hydraulic systems, such as water supply networks, sewage systems, pumping stations, reservoirs, and dams, identify constructability issues and work closely with the designer and the construction manager towards the optimization and the cost effectiveness of the design
  • Prepare and review technical documentation related to the monitoring of the progress (financial and/or physical) of the Project as well as prepare and/or coordinate relevant reports
  • Ensure effective management of project requirements and identify contractual issues before and/or during the construction phase and cooperate with the Construction and/or Project Manager towards resolving them
  • Prepare the purchase orders for project-related materials and electromechanical equipment procurement
  • Coordinate and monitor project contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on public projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong Knowledge of AUTOCAD
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
