We are looking for a highly skilled Operation & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Thessaloniki, at the Group’s subsidiary, Aktor Facility Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operation and Maintenance of large building premises and utility-scale photovoltaic plants
  • Supervision of small-scale Construction Projects
  • Energy upgrade of buildings
  • Coordinate with internal teams (facility management, engineering, safety, etc.) and external subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage overall contracts administration and project management for on-site engineering activities
  • Oversee and support the planning and execution of preventive, remedial, corrective, and ad-hoc construction and infrastructure activities, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Participate in operational meetings, providing regular and ad hoc updates on project progress
  • Supervise subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination, performance, and compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and maintaining the Safety and Health Plan (S.H.P.) and Safety and Health File (S.H.F.)

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Enrollment in the relevant professional register
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar role, after enrolment in the relevant professional register, particularly in project management of regular and ad hoc maintenance services
  • Experience in operating Building Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) would be an advantage
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, that corresponds to level B2 according to “Language levels of the Common European Framework of Reference”
  • Strong understanding of technical operations
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management abilities
  • Genuine enthusiasm for advancing a career in the renewable energy and facility management fields
  • Valid Driver’s License
