We are looking for a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our team.

Position Scope:

The Internal Audit Manager reports to the Head of Internal Audit and leads a team of internal auditors, overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit activities. Responsible for the preparation, review, and quality assurance of internal audit reports prior to final approval.

Duties and responsibilities: 

·       Manage a team of internal auditors, providing ongoing guidance, support, and performance oversight

·       Supervise the preparation, review, and accuracy of draft internal audit reports

·       Ensure the accuracy and quality of audit reports prior to final approval by the Head of Internal Audit

·       Strong experience in drafting and finalizing internal audit reports in Greek

·       Coordinate internal audit activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

·       Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and skills enhancement

·       Communicate audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations effectively to senior management and key stakeholders

·       Support the Head of Internal Audit in strategic initiatives and special projects

·       Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements both locally and internationally

Job qualifications and requirements: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

·       Minimum 10 years of proven experience preferably within an auditing firm or a heavy industrial / construction company

·       ACCA qualification completed or in progress (advanced/final level)

·       Master’s Degree in a related field will be a plus

·       Proficiency in English, both oral and written

·       Excellent command of MS-Office Suite

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

·       Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to think strategically and work effectively in a dynamic environment
