We are currently looking for a Surveyor Manager for the Construction of the Student Halls in Crete (Heraklion or Rethymnon) to join our team.

The Scope of the Position:

The Surveyor Manager will lead the creation of topographic mappings and will be accountable for the provision of topographic services to the construction teams of the project. Additionally, the Surveyor Manager will be responsible for the compliance with the project’s construction terms and the coordination of all the necessary actions for the successful execution of the projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team of surveyors to ensure timely and accurate completion of survey tasks
  • Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure survey data is integrated into project designs
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
  • Prepare and review survey reports and maps for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and maintain survey equipment and software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Surveyor Engineering or relevant field
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in building or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in managing construction sites and overseeing construction activities
  • Knowledge of related laws and regulations on construction
  • Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of related laws and regulations on construction
  • Excellent command of English (both written and oral)
