We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team at the Group’s subsidiary, AKTOR Real Estate.

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Handle daily accounting activities: cash/bank transaction entries, creditors’ invoices postings, fixed assets registrations, GL entries, etc.
• Perform routine calculations to produce reports as requested
• Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Participate in the monthly/annual closing process effectively and within deadlines
• Prepare the withholding taxes and VAT statements
• Monitor Contracts/Agreements and prepare submissions to AADE
• Check the MyData platform and take all necessary actions to ensure reconciliation
• Handle the cash register and the invoicing process
• Monitor the Accounts Payable and preparation of payment orders
• Assist in any auditing procedure by preparing the data requested and fulfilling secondary procedures

Job qualifications and requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (AEI or TEI)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience in ERP systems will be considered an asset
• Good knowledge of the Greek Accounting Standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
