We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team at the Group’s subsidiary, AKTOR Real Estate.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting activities: cash/bank transaction entries, creditors’ invoices postings, fixed assets registrations, GL entries, etc.
- Perform routine calculations to produce reports as requested
- Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Participate in the monthly/annual closing process effectively and within deadlines
- Prepare the withholding taxes and VAT statements
- Monitor Contracts/Agreements and prepare submissions to AADE
- Check the MyData platform and take all necessary actions to ensure reconciliation
- Handle the cash register and the invoicing process
- Monitor the Accounts Payable and preparation of payment orders
- Assist in any auditing procedure by preparing the data requested and fulfilling secondary procedures
Job qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (AEI or TEI)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in ERP systems will be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of the Greek Accounting Standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
