We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer (.NET + React) to join our team and contribute to the next chapter of MECCANICA.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in both .NET and React to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment, contributing to our core products and innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs) for backend services and React for frontend user interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in .NET development:
- Extensive experience with C# and .NET 10 (or recent .NET Core versions).
- Solid understanding of ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, and RESTful service design.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Knowledge of database design and SQL, ideally PostgreSQL
- Extensive experience with React.js:
- Proven experience building complex, responsive, and user-friendly single-page applications.
- Strong understanding of React hooks, context API, and server-state libraries such as TanStack Query.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with MUI or similar component libraries.
- Experience with build tools like Vite and package managers (npm, yarn).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit for .NET; Jest, React Testing Library for React).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CQRS-style architectures (command/query handler patterns).
- Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) authentication patterns.
- Experience working in a polyglot, multi-project monorepo.
- Exposure to .NET Aspire or similar orchestration tooling.
