We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer (.NET + React) to join our team and contribute to the next chapter of MECCANICA.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in both .NET and React to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment, contributing to our core products and innovative solutions.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs) for backend services and React for frontend user interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in .NET development:

1. Extensive experience with C# and .NET 10 (or recent .NET Core versions).
2. Solid understanding of ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, and RESTful service design.
3. Experience with Entity Framework Core.
4. Knowledge of database design and SQL, ideally PostgreSQL

• Extensive experience with React.js:

1. Proven experience building complex, responsive, and user-friendly single-page applications.
2. Strong understanding of React hooks, context API, and server-state libraries such as TanStack Query.
3. Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
4. Experience with MUI or similar component libraries.
5. Experience with build tools like Vite and package managers (npm, yarn).

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit for .NET; Jest, React Testing Library for React).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CQRS-style architectures (command/query handler patterns).
• Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) authentication patterns.
• Experience working in a polyglot, multi-project monorepo.
• Exposure to .NET Aspire or similar orchestration tooling.
