Position Purpose

The Junior Copywriter supports the creative team by developing, writing, and editing copy across a variety of communication channels and formats. Working under the guidance of senior creatives, including Copywriters, Creative Directors, and Associate Creative Directors, the Junior Copywriter contributes to the creative process and helps bring ideas to life in line with client briefs, brand strategy, and communication objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the development of copy drafts and long-form content for campaigns and communication platforms, following the direction and guidance of senior team members.
  • Adapts existing content for different formats and channels, including social media, banners, scripts, and other digital and traditional media.
  • Works closely with Art Directors and Copywriters on a daily basis to develop and execute creative ideas.
  • Refines and improves copy based on feedback from the creative team and senior stakeholders.
  • Meets deadlines and delivers work in line with the brief and agreed objectives.
  • Keeps up to date with emerging trends, language, cultural developments, and platform-specific tone of voice and best practices.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports the development and delivery of creative content across a range of projects and campaigns.
  • Follows the creative direction provided by senior team members, including Copywriters, Creative Directors, and Associate Creative Directors.
  • Develops an understanding of how to adapt each brand's tone of voice across different channels and communication formats.
  • Contributes to the creation of content that aligns with the brand's strategic and creative direction.
  • Responds positively to feedback and demonstrates a willingness to learn, develop, and continuously improve.

Required Qualifications

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Philology, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role within an advertising, creative, or communications environment; relevant internship experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Good understanding of the fundamental principles of communication across digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to write creative and engaging copy for different audiences, platforms, and communication channels.
  • Ability to use AI/LLM (Large Language Model) tools effectively as part of the creative and copywriting process.
